Position Summary
CR England is one of the largest carriers in North America and a leading provider of shipping and logistics services, with over 100 years in the industry.
We are seeking a skilled Finance Manager to support senior management through analysis, forecasting, reporting, and project support. The ideal candidate will have strong Excel and financial modeling skills, enjoy solving complex problems, and be able to effectively communicate insights to business leadership.
Pay: $90,000–$120,000 annual salary, based on experience.
This position is on-site in West Valley City, Utah- NO REMOTE
We’re looking for ambitious candidates— taking on increasing responsibility over time and developing into future leaders within the organization.
Our team runs on two tools: Claude and Microsoft Excel. We use them every day to build analysis, reporting, and tools. We need people who come in the door already highly proficient in both: advanced Excel users with real financial modeling skills, and experienced Claude (or similar AI) users who are hungry to keep pushing what it can do. Snowflake experience is a major plus.
Roles and Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain financial models to assist in budget planning and weekly forecasts.
- Conduct monthly, quarterly, and annual reporting, including variance analysis.
- Provide ad hoc project support for senior management.
- Assist with the month-end close process in coordination with corporate finance.
- Identify financial opportunities and risks.
- Transform data into actionable insights and develop new reporting structures.
- Use Claude and other AI tools to automate reporting and analysis, and help drive AI adoption across the team.
- Collaborate with department leaders to align priorities and establish goals across multiple operating divisions.
- Foster a team-oriented mindset, provide problem-solving leadership, and deliver exceptional service to business partners.
Education and Experience
- Advanced proficiency in Excel and financial modeling.
- Hands-on experience using Claude or similar AI tools in a professional setting, and a drive to keep building that skill.
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field.
- 5+ years of relevant experience in corporate finance, FP&A, investment banking, or related fields.
- Excellent analytical, decision-making, and problem-solving skills.
- High attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to thrive in a hybrid work environment (in-office and remote).
- Snowflake experience a major plus; Microsoft SQL skills a plus.
