The Corporate Finance Manager works in the Corporate office of a $80M company with 15 profit centers. This position is responsible for creating, posting and reconciling all General Ledger entries for each location of the company as well as assisting the Controller in all aspects of the monthly close cycle.

This position is needed to support the Corporate office in managing financial operations, ensuring accurate General Ledger entries, and assisting in the monthly close cycle. It contributes to the overall financial health of the company and collaborates with various departments to ensure proper and timely flow of data to the Accounting Department.

Responsibilities
RESPONSIBILITIES
· Prepare all necessary monthly General Ledger journal entries
· Maintain and reconcile all of the supporting schedules for journal entries
· Lead in training and support of personnel at each location in the various branch level accounting functions, including billing, payroll processing, work order and project creation, project management
· Prepare and reconcile monthly, quarterly, and annual post-close reports for parent company
· Reconcile and maintain schedules for all monthly intercompany entries
· Support the annual Financial and Sarbanes-Oxley (SOX) audits and related information requests
· Maintain internal relationships with team; coordinate with all departments to assure proper and timely flow of data to the Accounting Department
· Support successful operations consistent with ABM Electrical Power Solutions policies, programs, procedures, systems and guidelines
· Perform other duties as assigned

Qualifications. QUALIFICATIONS
· A Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance required.
· CPA or Master’s degree preferred.
· A minimum of three (3) years of experience accounting in a job costing environment, required.
· Knowledge of JD Edwards accounting systems and experience with work order systems strongly preferred.
· Strong Excel skills (Pivot tables, VLOOKUP) strongly preferred.
· Experience in Percentage of Completion Accounting preferred.
· Ability to be proactive, bring forth ideas, strong attention to detail are critical.
· Must be well organized, hard worker, great attitude and a team player.
· Ability to understand and carry out instructions quickly.
· Good understanding of GAAP.
· Experience with SOX requirements.
