Job Duties and Responsibilities

This role drives strategic valuation, financial modeling, and subscriber profitability analysis across EchoStar's telecom portfolio to safeguard the company's bottom line. The position addresses complex financial risks, optimizes offer profitability, and evaluates strategic M&A opportunities in a fast-paced environment. Primary responsibilities center on converting complex financial data into actionable leadership recommendations and modernizing analytical workflows through AI application.
What Success Looks Like (Objectives):
- Lead the operation and optimization of subscriber profitability models, revenue forecasting, and financial risk assessments for customer-facing offers
- Conduct due diligence and establish forward-looking financial and valuation models to evaluate strategic M&A opportunities
- Perform cross-functional financial analyses with operational teams to drive performance improvements and align workstreams with departmental objectives
- Leverage AI application tools to enhance data interpretation, accelerate quantitative modeling, and increase forecasting accuracy
- Synthesize complex financial metrics into concise presentations and strategic recommendations for senior management
Skills, Experience and Requirements
Core Skills and Competencies (What you'll bring):
- Critical experience leading financial analysis teams in fast-paced, high-throughput corporate environments
- Advanced proficiency in financial modeling, valuation concepts, and quantitative problem-solving
- AI Literacy and Application skills to streamline quantitative analysis, scenario modeling, and financial reporting
- Demonstrated ability to analyze complex datasets, establish facts, and draw sound financial conclusions
- Strong executive communication skills with proven success translating technical data into high-level business strategy
Additional Qualifications:
- MBA, MS in Finance, or related Master's degree
Minimum Requirements:
- Minimum Education: Bachelor's Degree in Finance, Economics, Business, or a related field
- Minimum Experience: 5+ years of experience in financial analysis, valuation, or strategic corporate finance, including management experience
- Required Technical Skills: Must have at least 5 years of experience with:
- Advanced Microsoft Excel and financial modeling tools
- Quantitative analysis, valuation concepts, and data interpretation
- Revenue and cost forecasting, offer profitability modeling, and M&A financial analysis

Salary Ranges
Compensation: $83,950.00/Year - $119,900.00/Year
