Partner with BU leadership to translate Greater China financial strategy into BU results—driving profitable growth, disciplined resource allocation, and rigorous decision-making. Combine finance expertise with business acumen to challenge, influence, and improve commercial outcomes while maintaining strong governance and control.

Key Outcomes (KPIs)

Forecast accuracy (Revenue/GM/Opex) within agreed tolerance.

BU EBIT margin and mix improvement vs. plan.

Inventory health: DII, aging %, and obsolescence within thresholds.

Deal/pricing ROI vs. business case; A&P effectiveness.

Close quality: no material BU-led post-close adjustments; on-time submissions. Action closure rate on risks/opportunities and audit items.

Core Responsibilities (aligned to GC Director priorities)

1. Drive BU performance vs. KPIs (20%) Build and maintain BU KPI dashboards; run weekly/monthly reviews; lead variance analyses and action plans; escalate material risks/opportunities to the GC Director promptly.

2. Commercial decision support & challenge (20%) Provide rigorous analysis on SFE, channel economics, customer/portfolio profitability, pricing strategy, and asset efficiency; challenge proposals to ensure value creation and risk mitigation.

3. Distributor inventory & demand control (10%) Maintain clear visibility of in-market stock, align shipments to true demand, flag excess/shortage risks, and coordinate actions (pacing, markdowns, phase-outs) to protect P&L and cash.

4. Planning, budgeting & forecasting (25%) Orchestrate BU strategic reviews, budgets, LEs; build scenarios and sensitivities; ensure drivers link to GC targets and market assumptions.

5. Market/competitive insights (5%) Monitor trends and competitor move; translate into implications for BU pricing, channel, and portfolio choices.

6. Innovation & change (5%) Pilot process improvements (e.g., close acceleration, forecast automation, self-service dashboards) and codify BU playbooks that feed Greater China standards.

7. External relationship support (5%) Support negotiations with key customers/distributors/suppliers through deal modelling, term-sheet economics, and scenario analytics.

8. Financial control & month-end integrity (10%) Ensure fair statement of Sales, A&P, inventory and related items; reconcile demand vs. forecast; comply with policy and support audit readiness. (Reinforces Director’s governance expectations).

Key interfaces: BU Directors/Managers, Sales, Marketing, Supply Chain/IBP, Customer Service, Commercial Excellence, Controllership.

Education: Graduate of a four-year course from a reputable school, preferably with excellent academic background; Degree or diploma in Accounting, Finance, Business, Management (preferable but not limited to).

Professional experience: At least 4-5 years solid experience in major aspects of financial management or directly from Big 4 firms

Competence: Excellent interpersonal and leadership skills.; team player and can work under pressure. able to challenge constructively and influence senior stakeholders. Advanced financial modelling/valuation; analytics that connect drivers to outcomes. Planning/forecasting mastery; KPI & driver-based performance management.

Skills Required

  • Bachelor's degree (four-year) from a reputable school
  • Degree or diploma in Accounting, Finance, Business, Management
  • At least 4-5 years' experience in financial management or experience at Big 4 firms
  • Advanced financial modelling and valuation skills
  • Strong planning, budgeting and forecasting mastery
