About the RoleThe Finance Manager will be responsible for overseeing all finance activities in Jordan, including financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting, tax compliance, cash flow management, and statutory reporting. The role will ensure support business growth through financial analysis.
Key Responsibilities:- Lead and manage all finance operations for the Jordan entity.
- Oversee the monthly, quarterly, and year-end financial closing process.
- Ensure accurate and timely financial reporting in accordance with company policies and local regulations.
- Prepare and manage annual budgets, forecasts, and cash flow plans.
- Monitor financial performance and provide analysis and recommendations to management.
- Ensure compliance with local tax regulations, including VAT, income tax, and withholding tax filings.
- Manage statutory reporting, external audits, and relationships with auditors, tax advisers, banks, and regulatory authorities.
- Maintain and strengthen internal controls and ensure compliance with company policies.
- Support business decisions by providing financial insights and commercial analysis.
- Coordinate with regional finance teams to ensure alignment with group reporting requirements.
- Lead and develop the local finance team while driving continuous process improvements and automation where possible.
- Support strategic projects, business expansion initiatives, and other finance-related activities as required.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- Professional qualification such as CPA, ACCA, CMA, or equivalent is preferred.
- 7–10 years of progressive experience in finance and accounting, with at least 3 years in a managerial role.
- Strong knowledge of Jordanian accounting standards, tax regulations, and statutory reporting requirements.
- Experience in budgeting, forecasting, financial reporting, and cash flow management.
- Strong understanding of internal controls, financial compliance, and audit processes.
- Proficiency in ERP systems and Microsoft Excel
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities.
- Fluent in English and Arabic (written and spoken).
