We are currently seeking a Finance Manager to join our Finance Team. This person can be based in Brisbane, Gold Coast or Sydney.
As the Finance Manager for KONE Door Business (KDB) Australia, you will play a key role in driving financial performance, governance, and operational excellence across the business. Responsible for overseeing financial reporting, controlling activities, and overall financial performance, you will ensure accuracy, compliance, and alignment with KONE Group standards while supporting critical finance operations across the Order-to-Cash (O2C), Purchase-to-Pay (P2P), and Record-to-Report (R2R) processes.
Partnering closely with our outsourcing providers, process stream leads, and frontline teams, you will help deliver efficient and effective finance operations while continuously strengthening the financial control environment. This is a highly visible role that offers the opportunity to influence business outcomes, improve financial transparency, enhance controls, and provide valuable commercial support to stakeholders across the region.
What will you be doing?
Lead financial controlling and financial reporting for KDB Australia including balance sheet oversight
Ensure compliance with KONE Group policies, IFRS, and local statutory requirements
Oversee and support daily O2C, P2P, and R2R activities in collaboration with our outsourcing partner
Strengthen internal controls and proactively address control issues
Support business performance management and provide insights to local leadership
Contribute to harmonising and embedding KDB’s future Finance Operating Model
Review the organisation's financial reports (balance sheet, PL and cashflow) and business performance reports to ensure they are accurate and present the findings and recommendations to other senior management
Ensure tax compliance across GST, FBT, and income tax, lodged accurately and on time in coordination with our outsourced partner
Help drive and manage collections and coordinate with various regional teams
Drive continuous improvement in financial processes and tools
Collaborate with cross‑functional teams across business areas and group finance
What We’re Looking For
5+ years’ experience in a similar role
Bachelors degree in a related discipline
CPA (Certified Public Accountant) and CA (Chartered Accountant) qualifications highly regarded
Strong experience in financial controlling, accounting, or auditing
Solid understanding of end‑to‑end finance processes (O2C, P2P, R2R)
Ability to work independently and manage multiple stakeholders
Strong analytical mindset with attention to detail
Experience in a multinational environment is an advantage
Proactive, solution‑oriented approach with a drive for improvement
