Your role and responsibilities
In this role, you will have the opportunity to act as a trusted strategic business partner to the relevant business manager and lead local finance teams to optimize financial performance within the assigned business unit. Each day, you will support effective business decisions by monitoring, analyzing, and interpreting financial and operational data to evaluate business alternatives and recommend the most appropriate solutions. You will also showcase your expertise by combining deep financial knowledge with business acumen to drive performance, profitability, and sustainable growth.

The work model for the role is: Hybrid

This role is contributing to the MOHP division in South Africa.

You will be mainly accountable for:

  • Acting as a key business partner to business leaders by contributing to strategy development, scenario planning, business planning, forecasting and performance management.

  • Driving the definition and implementation of global standards, internal controls, and business-specific guidelines to ensure effective financial governance, compliance and continuous improvement.

  • Providing financial insight and decision support through performance analysis, productivity optimization, cash flow management, working capital improvement and risk mitigation.

  • Ensuring transparency, accuracy, and reliability in financial reporting and business information while fostering effective communication and strong stakeholder relationships across the organization.

Qualifications for the role

  • 8–10 years of experience in Finance, Financial Planning & Analysis, Business Controlling, or Finance Business Partnering, with a proven track record of supporting business performance and strategic decision-making.

  • Highly skilled in financial planning, forecasting, budgeting, management reporting, financial analysis, risk management, and internal controls.

  • Possess advanced proficiency in ERP systems, data analytics, and visualization tools such as Power BI, with the ability to convert data into actionable business insights.

  • Passionate about stakeholder engagement, influencing senior leaders, and translating complex financial information into clear business recommendations.

  • You hold a Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field. A professional finance qualification such as CA(SA), CIMA, ACCA, or equivalent will be advantageous.

  • Demonstrate strong commercial acumen with the ability to connect financial outcomes to business strategy, market dynamics, and growth opportunities.

  • At ease communicating in English and collaborating across cross-functional and international stakeholder groups.
