What We’re Looking For
An experienced Finance Manager to lead and manage our finance operations across South Africa, Tanzania, and Mozambique.
A leader with strong work ethics, integrity, and the ability to inspire the team.
Someone with cross-border finance experience, particularly in East Africa.
Key Responsibilities
Oversee and manage the finance departments across three countries.
Prepare and deliver accurate monthly management accounts, reports, and ledgers within strict deadlines.
Ensure compliance with all statutory returns and regulatory requirements across the three countries.
Maintain and enhance accounting systems, policies, and procedures; recommend improvements.
Lead budgeting, forecasting, and financial projections.
Manage insurance, payroll, and capital expenditure (Capex) processes.
Coordinate year-end financial activities across the company.
Partner with the Sales team on project costings, financial terms, and maintenance agreements.
Provide financial and commercial support to non-finance managers.
Drive performance and development of the finance team, aligning objectives with company goals.
Ensure adherence to Health, Safety, Environmental, and Quality standards.
Requirements
Professional Qualification: ACCA, CA, or CIMA with audit experience.
Minimum 10 years’ industry experience, including cross-border operations.
Proven ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
Proficiency in accounting systems such as Sage and Microsoft Dynamics Navision.
Strong leadership and team management experience.
Advanced Microsoft Excel/Office skills
Good business understanding; experience in an engineering environment is an advantage.
