Job Description
The Finance Manager for Motion is a critical business partner who helps shape decisions, leads the financial integration of the Clearpath acquisition, and provides critical financial guidance to profitably grow an expanding portfolio essential to the Connected Enterprise. You will lead the financial planning processes for Motion, interpret financial performance to provide relevant insights, and help improve investment allocation to drive profitable share gains for our Motion business. You will work with the Global Analysis & Insights team, Clearpath Finance, and collaboratively across FP&A to support ongoing transformation within Finance. You will report to the Director of Finance for the Intelligent Devices segment.
Your Responsibilities:
- Assist the Motion Vice President in making investment allocation decisions, setting financial targets, controlling spending, and supporting process improvement efforts.
- Support portfolio and program management, process improvement, and business development efforts across the Motion business.
- Coordinate forecasting, planning, and reporting
- Provide commentary to leaders on variances and overall financial performance
- Support new product development efforts
- Resolve commercial and financial issues in our fast-growing Independent Cart business
- Lead the financial integration efforts of our Clearpath Robotics acquisition
- Partner with our GA&I team to measure and project financial performance
- Ensure the material accuracy of Motion financial reporting and the proper administration of related internal controls
The Essentials - You Will Have:
- Bachelors Degree
- Legal authorization to work in the U.S. We will not sponsor individuals for employment visas, now or in the future, for this job opening.
The Preferred - You Might Also Have:
- Bachelors Degree in Finance or Accounting
- MBA
- Seven years of Finance or related business experience.
- Experience with SAP or similar ERP systems
- Experience presenting results and translating systems and financial terminology to different levels of management.
