Finance Manager - Japan

Location: Japan (Tokyo, Kawasaki)

As a Finance Manager, you will:

• Reporting to APJ Finance Director based in Beijing, China;
• Providing business support and advice to Japan finance and other functions, including R&D, Sales, Technical support etc. to ensure company policies and procedures are strictly followed;
• Liaising with suppliers, customers and 3rd party service providers and providing feedback and advice as required, so to have them well understand Fortinet policies and procedures and act accordingly;
• Working closely with APAC finance team as well as US tax, GL, FP&A and cost accounting teams to meet the information request and reporting requirements; 
• Performing financial analysis and providing financial reports/supports as per required; 
• Other duties as requested.

We Are Looking For: 
An insightful and influential collaborator to join our team. We encourage you to apply for this position if you have the following qualities:

• Degree in accounting, finance or related disciplines and chartered/certified accountant is preferred;
• 5- 10 years’ experience in full spectrum of accounting/finance function, preferably with a US multinational company;
• 3-5 years’ experience in a managerial role; 
• In-depth knowledge and experience in US and Japanese GAAP;
• Hands on experience in MS Office and computerized accounting systems;
• Experienced with Oracle is preferred;
• Several years of international/regional exposure;
• Strong communication skill and being able to communicate with people at all levels;
• Fluent in both English and Japanese;
• A fast learner and team player and able to work independently and with tight timeline;
• High level of integrity and positive attitude;
• Hands on and detail oriented
