The Finance Manager will be responsible for assisting with the consolidation and review of forecasts, budgets, strategic plans, and other relevant financial cycles as needed. This individual will also ensure that information and advice are delivered timely and accurately, company policies and procedures are followed and that communication between finance teams is consistent and strong.

Working from our midtown Manhattan office a minimum of 3 days per week is required.

We will count on you to:

  • Be responsible for allocation process across all Corporate functions.
  • Own Corporate documentation & reporting for consolidated Corporate functions.
  • Act as the primary contributor for financial reports for all Corporate functions that are used in discussion with senior leadership.
  • Make central updates in our Planning system that impact all Corporate functions.
  • Prepare and analyze financial reports, statements, and dashboards for senior management.
  • Ensure compliance with financial regulations, policies, and internal controls.
  • Communicate with management on a consistent basis, to ensure sound fiscal management.
  • Oversee month-end and year-end closing processes.
  • Implement and improve financial systems, processes and tools for efficiency.
  • Stay updated on industry trends, regulations and best practices in finance.

Ad-hoc Analysis

  • Develop expertise in reporting and analytic tools and data sources, including, Microsoft Office, Hyperion Interactive Reporting, Essbase, iProcurement 
  • Support quantitative analysis and projects relating to operating and staffing models

Project Management Support 

  • Provide business analytic and/or project management support for Finance
  • Assist with the development and maintenance of project plans and timelines
  • Coordinate between business units, operations and finance to accomplish assigned project objectives
  • Assist in the coordination of communication and key initiatives

  • A Bachelor’s Degree
  • A minimum of 3 years of finance experience

Marsh is committed to hybrid work, which includes the flexibility of working remotely and the collaboration, connections and professional development benefits of working together in the office. All Marsh colleagues are expected to be in their local office or working onsite with clients at least three days per week. Office-based teams will identify at least one “anchor day” per week on which their full team will be together in person.

The applicable base salary range for this role is $94,600 to $189,000.

The base pay offered will be determined on factors such as experience, skills, training, location, certifications, education, and any applicable minimum wage requirements. Decisions will be determined on a case-by-case basis. In addition to the base salary, this position may be eligible for performance-based incentives.
