Position SummaryThe Finance & Insurance Manager is responsible for guiding customers through the vehicle financing and protection product process while ensuring a transparent, professional, and compliant experience. This individual works closely with sales consultants, lenders, and dealership leadership to deliver outstanding customer satisfaction and achieve departmental performance goals.
Key Responsibilities- Present financing and leasing options tailored to each customer's needs.
- Offer and explain vehicle protection products, service contracts, GAP, maintenance plans, tire and wheel protection, and ancillary products.
- Secure financing through a network of banks, credit unions, and lending partners.
- Maintain exceptional lender relationships while obtaining competitive financing approvals.
- Ensure all contracts, documentation, and disclosures are completed accurately and in compliance with federal, state, and dealership regulations.
- Maintain compliance with all applicable laws, including Truth in Lending, Red Flags Rule, OFAC, Safeguards Rule, and dealership policies.
- Deliver an exceptional customer experience throughout the delivery process.
- Achieve monthly production goals including product penetration, finance reserve, and profitability while maintaining high customer satisfaction scores.
- Collaborate with the sales team to ensure a seamless transition from vehicle purchase to delivery.
- Maintain accurate funding schedules and assist in resolving contract issues promptly.
- Stay current on manufacturer programs, lender guidelines, compliance requirements, and industry best practices.
- Contribute to a positive, team-oriented dealership culture.
