About the RoleFor our Organization GBS Financial Services we are looking for a*n Finance Manager DACH to support our team as soon as possible. You are responsible for managing and providing all agreed finance services (statutory and accounting & reporting activities) within the region in an effective and cost-efficient way, plus coaching, monitoring and developing the team supporting them.
The primary place of work is our Mannheim office, however we are open for other Essity Office locations. The position is permanent and full-time.
What you will doDrive the strategic vision for regional Finance services in alignment with the global framework
Deliver Finance services and implement global projects across the region
Ensure accurate, ethical, and compliant financial statement and operations following IFRS and local GAAP rulings, as well as budgeting, forecasting, and cost management
Coordinate and execute internal and external audits in line with Group Finance and local regulations
Advise senior management on financial matters and regulatory impacts, ensuring stakeholder satisfaction and continuous improvement
Lead, coach, and develop the Finance team while fostering cross-functional collaboration within the matrix organization

Min. 7+ years with substantial experience in leading a Finance organization (in a multi-cultural environment / global matrix organization), Bachelor or master’s degree in finance area or equivalent
Experience in working with multiple stakeholders while balancing multiple priorities
Strategically agile in understanding all business components and how they fit together
Flexible - readily adapts to change, to new systems and/or new ways of working
Excellent communication, collaboration skills and analytical skills, problem-solving, and decision-making skills
System experience in SAP (S/4 preferably), and Office 365
Proficient in English and German - oral and written communication skills
