Job Description
The Finance Manager - Cubic role supports our recently acquired business within the Intelligent Devices segment. This role will be a combination of controlling activities along with business support and analytics. This team member reports directly to the Sr Finance Manager, ETO. This role works closely with a talented finance team across China, Denmark, India, Poland, and the US. It requires close collaboration across FP&A organizations, Global Finance Operations (GFO), Controllership, Tax, Treasury, Corporate Development, Integrated Supply Chain, and IT.
Your Responsibilities:
- Responsible for and accurate reporting of financial data for Cubic and its subsidiaries
- Coordination of monthly, quarterly and year end close
- Full Accounting, Statutory and Tax responsibility for Cubic
- Ensures all balance sheet reconciliations are accurate and reconciled
- Primary point of contact for CUBIC's external and internal auditors and other outside financial consultants or authorities
- Management of the daily work routines in the finance department for CUBIC Modulsystem A/S
- Decision support partner to the Cubic business, providing input to and driving strategy and execution across the organization with analyses, recommendations, and executable action plans
- Co-Lead the FP&A cadence for CUBIC with Sr Finance Manager, ETO, including annual operating plan, quarterly forecast, and monthly results. This involves optimizing on opportunities and mitigating risks throughout the year
- Collaborate across the business and functions to ensure price/cost and productivity targets are exceeded
- Balance and align investments to support on-going product development and business growth
- Supporting continued post-acquisition integration efforts. This includes, but is not limited to, controls, reporting, forecasting and planning in delivering on profitable growth targets
- Coordinating across teams and functions to lead the ERP system connection into Rockwell systems/processes.
The Essentials - You Will Have:
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in Finance and/or Accounting
- Work location is Brønderslev, Denmark
- Proven business partner with able to identify opportunities, provide clarity, offer sound recommendations, and drive financial issues to resolution
- Capable of interacting across functions, levels, and senior leadership
- Inspires others, leads and develops teams
- Innovative approach to modeling and analyzing challenges and identify alternate solutions
- Demonstrate courage to influence impact
- Strong strategic capacity with the ability to operate as a innovation agent
- Knowing when to escalate challenges to prevent delays
- Ability to delegate with varying deadlines.
- Cultural sensitivity to lead and excel in a diverse, global environment
The Preferred - You Might Also Have:
- Typically requires 10 years of progressive finance and/or accounting experience with an FP&A emphasis
- Certification/License: MBA or CPA/ACCA
