Job Summary

Flex intends to spin off its Cloud and Power Infrastructure segment into a new, independent publicly traded company called Axiom Solutions. The spin is planned for Q1 2027. We're looking for a Manager of Corporate FP&A who loves turning data into decisions. This is more than forecasting numbers. It's about helping leaders see around corners, make smart bets, and drive profitable growth.


You’ll partner with the VP Finance – FP&A and executives across the company to tell the story behind the numbers, challenge assumptions, identify opportunities, and help steer the business toward its strategic goals.

We are seeking to hire a Corporate SG&A Finance Manager in Austin TX. in this role you will be responsible for leading the planning, forecasting, reporting, and analysis of corporate Selling, General & Administrative (SG&A) expenses. This role partners closely with functional leaders across Executive Management, Finance, HR, IT, Legal, Facilities, and Corporate Development, and Executive Management to drive cost discipline, improve forecast accuracy, and support strategic decision-making.


The position serves as a key finance business partner, providing visibility into spending trends, identifying cost optimization opportunities, and ensuring alignment with corporate financial objectives.


What a typical day looks like:


  • Lead monthly, quarterly, and annual SG&A forecasting and budgeting processes.
  • Develop and maintain detailed expense models for corporate functions.
  • Analyze actual results versus budget, forecast, and prior year performance.
  • Provide variance analysis and actionable recommendations to leadership.
  • Support long-range planning and strategic financial modeling.
  • Prepare monthly management reporting packages and executive summaries.
  • Monitor SG&A spending trends, KPIs, and cost drivers.
  • Perform ad hoc financial analyses to support strategic initiatives.
  • Develop dashboards and reporting tools to enhance decision-making.
  • Present findings and recommendations to senior management.
  • Collaborate with department leaders to understand business drivers and resource requirements.
  • Challenge assumptions and identify opportunities for productivity improvements.
  • Support organizational investment decisions and cost reduction initiatives.
  • Drive accountability for budget ownership across functions.

 


The experience we are looking to add to our team:


  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field.\
  • 7+ years of progressive finance, FP&A, or corporate finance experience.
  • Experience managing corporate or SG&A expense planning.
  • Experience supporting senior executives and corporate functions.
  • Strong knowledge of budgeting, forecasting, and financial modeling
  • Advanced Excel and financial modeling capabilities.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Executive-level communication and presentation skills.
  • Experience with ERP, planning, and reporting systems (e.g., OneStream, SAP).
  • Ability to influence cross-functional stakeholders.
