Description
The Finance Manager role is part of the FP&A analysis team that supports the global R&D/Marketing, Customer Service, and Global Strategic Accounts teams. The position reports to the Finance Director of Global Strategic Investments. The role will be located in Warsaw, Poland.
The primary objectives include providing financial analysis of SG&A spend versus budget, preparation of annual budget and quarterly forecasting, and headcount reporting. The role will interact with various levels of the functional teams to communicate SG&A variance analysis and provide recommendations for spending controls. This position will receive support from the India Hub commercial analysts assigned on preparation of SG&A reporting. This position will also support routine and ad hoc requests as needed.
Responsibilities
- SG&A reporting & analysis: provide clear explanation of variances v plan and communication to functional leaders and their teams monthly.
- Headcount reporting and tracking of open requisitions throughout the year to provide controls to spending as needed.
- Preparation of annual SG&A budgets and quarterly forecasting for global functions.
- Manage via dotted line the hub resources assigned to the global functional FP&A support.
- Support of monthly Operating Committee reporting and regional leadership team meetings.
- Ad hoc projects and process improvements as requested by Director of Global Strategic Investments. (ie. capital expenditure return analysis, INNOVA business case analysis etc)
Qualifications
- B.S. in Accounting, Finance or related degree.
- At least 5-6 years of financial analysis experience
- Highly proficient in Microsoft Excel and Powerpoint
- Proficient in Tableau or other Business Intelligence tools
- Experience with Onestream and SAP preferred
- Ability to work under tight deadlines. Flexible and adaptable to changing business environment
- Effective communications skills, fluent in English
- Must be customer-focused, seek continuous improvement, and highly self-directed
