This Position reports to:
Finance Manager
Your role and responsibilities
In this role, you will have the opportunity to act as a business partner to the relevant business manager/ CHO and lead common services and local finance team to optimize the financial performance within an assigned division / business area. You will support effective business decisions by monitoring, analyzing, and interpreting financial data to evaluate various business alternatives. You will also showcase your expertise by recommending the most appropriate business solutions.
The work model for the role is: hybrid
This role is contributing to the all active business areas in Slovenia.
Main stakeholders are business managers, division controllers, and global finance colleagues.
You will be mainly accountable for:
Leading common services and local finance team.
Securing transparency in financial reporting and disclosures.
Driving the definition and implementation of local and global standards and business specific guidelines to ensure continuous improvement in financial control process within your area of responsibility.
Preparation of budgets and monthly financial/business forecasts.
Internal controls.
Leading, providing guidance, and facilitating best practices to ensure alignment and consistency of controlling practices.
Ensuring timely and efficient communication with relevant internal customers to identify and discuss issues for improvement of operations, work quality, and efficiency for your area of responsibility.
Communication with external stakeholders and service providers (tax authorities, support external auditors).
You will join dynamic and high performing team, where you will be able to thrive.
Qualifications for the role:
Mandatory knowledge of Slovenian and English language.
You are skilled in SRS and US GAAP.
Experience in tax and statutory audit.
Ability to demonstrate your experience in international corporations, business planning, forecasting, and financial analysis, with 5+ years of experience in finance / controlling.
Possess an enhanced knowledge of SAP/CFIN, SAP BW, and advanced Excel skills.
You are passionate about problem solving, result oriented, reliable, trustworthy and lead by example.
Degree in Accounting/Finance or Economics
