Finance Manager – Grand Junction, COJabil is hiring a Finance Manager to lead financial operations at our machining manufacturing site supporting defense and aerospace customers in Grand Junction, Colorado. This role holds full controllership of the site and is responsible for ensuring accurate, timely, and compliant financial reporting. The ideal candidate will be a hands-on leader with strong analytical skills, cross-functional collaboration experience, and a deep understanding of financial systems and forecasting.
What can you expect to do?
- Own and manage the month-end open and close process, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
- Lead budgeting and forecasting cycles, including forecast vs. actual variance analysis.
- Prepare and consolidate P&L statements, cash flow reports, and other financial documents for leadership review.
- Maintain and reconcile the balance sheet, ensuring integrity and compliance.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with Business Unit and Operations teams to align financial goals with operational performance.
- Drive cash and balance sheet forecasting on a weekly and monthly basis.
- Ensure compliance with all governmental and regulatory financial reporting requirements.
- Support and lead audit and compliance initiatives.
- Monitor and improve key financial metrics such as DSO, DPO, Days to Close, and Fixed Asset validation.
- Utilize SAP and Prism systems for financial reporting, analysis, and operational alignment.
What is the experience needed to be successful in this role?
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field required.
- 8+ years proven experience in financial controllership or similar, preferably in a manufacturing or operations environment.
- Strong knowledge of SAP, Prism, and Microsoft Office tools (Excel, PowerPoint, Word).
- Demonstrated ability to lead financial planning, forecasting, and variance analysis.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills across departments and leadership levels.
- Experience with compliance, audit readiness, and financial process improvement.
