Job DescriptionWe're looking for a 6-month fixed-term contract to join our team LATAM finance team in Sao Paulo, Brazil as Finance Manager. This role is a critical bridge between our regional strategy and day-to-day financial excellence.
As we continue to scale, we need a seasoned manager to:
- Drive Operational Excellence: Manage the month-end close process and quarterly financial reporting for our LATAM entities, ensuring 100% accuracy and compliance with local standards.
- Support Regional Leadership: Act as a key deputy to the Latam Regional Finance Lead, providing the data and insights necessary to steer the business.
- Operationalize Compliance: Directly oversee the execution of controls and processes required by the Central Bank of Brazil, ensuring we stay "audit-ready" at all times.
- Team Development: Bring fresh perspective to the Latam Regional Finance team, fostering a culture of detail-orientation and continuous improvement.
- Vendor & Audit Management: Manage the day-to-day relationships with outsource firms, tax advisors, and external auditors to ensure seamless delivery of financial services.
- Professional Experience: You are a seasoned finance professional with 8+ years of experience in financial controlling, audit, or management accounting. Experience within Banking, FinTech, or Financial Services is essential.
- Technical Mastery: You possess a strong working knowledge of Brazil GAAP and IFRS. You don't just understand the rules; you know how to apply them to complex fintech transactions.
- Execution & Control: You have a proven track record of improving internal controls and streamlining financial processes in a fast-paced environment.
- Stakeholder Management: You are comfortable presenting financial results to senior leadership and managing communications with auditors and regulatory advisors.
- Analytical Mindset: You are skilled at data analysis and can translate complex financial data into actionable commercial insights for business partners.
- Adaptability: You thrive in a hybrid, flexible environment and are comfortable navigating a rapidly growing global company.

Skills Required
- 8+ years in financial controlling, audit, or management accounting
- Experience within Banking, FinTech, or Financial Services

Employees engage in a combination of remote and on-site work.
We expect new joiners in the office most days to build connections and learn from colleagues for their first six months. After that, most Wisers split their working week between the office and home, typically coming in at least 12 times a month.
