Northrop Grumman is currently seeking a Manager Finance 3 located onsite in our Melbourne, FL office. The selected candidate will lead the Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A) processes for the Division.

This role requires a solid understanding and working knowledge of financial planning and reporting and involves day-to-day supervision, guidance, and development to a team of financial analysts. The selected candidate will coordinate and work closely with Division and Sector leadership, financial planning and reporting teams, and other functions across the organization, to complete the below activities and strategic objectives.

Primary responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following:

  • Financial Planning (Annual Operating Plan/Long Range Strategic Plan and monthly forecasting), Analysis, and Reporting in accordance with company policy, GAAP and SOX requirements
  • Financial reporting & financial statement analysis (Income Statement/Balance Sheet/Cash Flow Statement)
  • Provide financial variance analysis, business analysis, and reporting with the ability to clearly communicate with senior management as it relates to financial program status and analyses
  • Support Treasury / Cash forecasting
  • Coordinate responses to ad hoc requests from Sector or Corporate
  • Support process and Tools improvement initiatives/Digital Transformation for business management

Leadership:

  • Strong communication and relationship skills with internal stakeholders and cross-functional colleagues
  • Partnership with the Corporate, Sector, Division and BU business management / finance teams
  • On-boarding, motivation, development, and supervision of other staff members within the broader team

Basic Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree with 8 years of related experience in business management, finance, and/or accounting - OR - a Master's degree with 6 years of related experience
  • Prior management experience and demonstrated ability to lead teams and develop talent
  • Familiarity with business strategy and forecasting, through internal or external deliverables such a Long Range Strategic Plan or Annual Operating Plan
  • Working knowledge of financial statements (Income Statement, Balance Sheet, Cash Flow Statement)
  • Ability to prioritize effectively and complete work timely in a deadline driven environment
  • Ability to work across cross functional teams to complete deliverables
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office suite of tools/applications, with a strong emphasis on Microsoft Excel
  • Ability to transfer and maintain the final adjudicated government Secret clearance (DoD must be in-scope or enrolled in Continuous Evaluation) and any program access(es) required for the position within a reasonable period of time, as determined by the Company.

Primary Level Salary Range: $133,400.00 - $200,200.00

The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education, skills and current market conditions.

Depending on the position, employees may be eligible for overtime, shift differential, and a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives. In addition, Northrop Grumman provides a variety of benefits including health insurance coverage, life and disability insurance, savings plan, Company paid holidays and paid time off (PTO) for vacation and/or personal business.
