Lead Financial Officers (LFOs) serve as strategic advisors and trusted Finance partners to the functions and businesses they support. This Vice President, Finance LFO Support role will lead the execution of financial management responsibilities for the Finance function, which manages a multi-billion dollar budget across approximately 15 disciplines, including planning, forecasting, reporting, and performance analysis
Responsibilities
The Vice President, Finance LFO Support role is responsible for leading and delivering key financial management activities across the Finance function, including:
- Supporting the development and execution of the Finance function's financial objectives
- Maintaining strong relationships with key partners, including FP&A and Business Execution Leads, to execute critical financial processes and deliverables
- Driving budgeting, forecasting, and planning processes through collaboration with functional partners, ensuring accuracy and timely delivery
- Leading the delivery of strategic financial insights, including performance analysis and recommendations to support decision-making and improve financial outcomes
- Performing detailed variance analysis and determining corrective actions to address deviations from financial plans
- Preparing and delivering financial reports, dashboards, and analyses, including key performance metrics, trends, and business insights
- Leading the preparation of Quarterly Business Review (QBR) materials in partnership with COO teams and other stakeholders
- Appropriately assessing risk when making business decisions by demonstrating particular consideration for the firm's reputation and safeguarding Citigroup, its clients, and assets, including ensuring compliance with applicable laws, rules, and regulations, adhering to policies, and exercising sound ethical judgment in personal conduct and business practices
Qualifications
- 5+ years of relevant Finance experience
- Experience in financial management, including budgeting, forecasting, planning, reporting, analytics, and business performance analysis
- Strong technical skills, particularly in Excel, PowerPoint, and Citi AI tools
- Proven ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and manage competing priorities while meeting tight deadlines
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills, with a demonstrated ability to influence and partner with stakeholders across multiple levels of the organization
Education
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience required
