Finance Lead

This role ensures all expenditures align with client's financial policies and provides detailed reporting on budget utilization. The Finance Analyst also manages vendor payments, tracks cost savings, and ensures financial transparency throughout the congress lifecycle. A support role within our Meeting & Events teams, handling the post event billing reconciliation, vendor coordination and data administration tasks for specified global markets or customer accounts.

What You'll Do:

• Receive, review, cross check and analyze the event budgets assigned via Meetings & Events’ internal Project Management tool (Meeting Central).
• Communicate with appropriate departments to clarify request and obtain appropriate supporting documentation as per the laid down checklist within the process.
• Review and complete event close out process in accordance with policy guidelines to include data integrity, aging and SLA compliance.
• Assess, analyze, and intelligently enter data taken from one data source to another, either via manual duplication or by means of a macro.
• Reconciliation of all meeting and event spend.
• Track budget items, catch errors and missing invoices for follow up with Suppliers / Vendors.
• Supports continuous alignment with M&E policies and turnaround time and works closely with the Meeting planners.
• Supports resolution on issues and reconciliation errors to ensure Event closures on time.

What We're Looking For:

• REQUIRED: 2+ years of reconciliation processes

• Pharmaceutical Congress experience a plus.

• Ability to communicate effectively and professionally with all levels of management and clients.

• Ability to work accurately and timely – to meet deadlines.

• Shown skills for technology and/or software solutions and analytical skills required.

• Microsoft Word and Excel experience – Advanced level

• Experience with meeting industry technology preferred (CVENT)

• Advanced oral and written presentation skills required.

The US national base salary range for this position is from 

The national range provided includes the base salary that GBT expects to pay for the role.  Actual base salary will be based on factors including the scope and complexity of the role and the successful candidate’s relevant experience, skills, knowledge, and work location.

In addition to base salary, the anticipated range of which is posted above, this role is eligible for a discretionary annual bonus which rewards participants based on individual and/or company performance.
