Job Description:

• Assist CFO and Finance Director for Finance Operations of the Group
• Handle full set of accounts (Independent Contributor) including month-end and year-end closing for investment holding companies
• Review of multiple entity accounts and liaison with outsourced accountants
• Responsible for reconciling and agreeing intercompany balances within theGroup and its related companies and reporting on intercompany balances for Month-end and Year-end closing
• Responsible to facilitate payments through online banking transactions
• Responsible for reviewing monthly reporting of related companies to ensure accuracy
• Provide insight on financial matters and assist on implementation of financial policies and controls with compliance of accounting policies & procedures
• Responsible for Year-end Statutory Audit. Liaise with external auditors to close the audit on a timely basis
• Liaise with Tax Agents on annual tax computation & submissions, to ensure tax compliance and all tax returns are submitted on a timely basis
• Liaise with Company Secretary on preparation of resolutions, AGM & filing of Annual Return• Preparation of group consolidation
• Liaise and collaborate with functional managers to monitor operating metrics, analyse financial and commercial performance, review sales throughput, assess investment opportunities, and define multi-year strategic direction
• Where needed, support senior management and project managers on major initiatives and projects
• Prepare analyses, presentations, and other materials for senior management’s internal and external meetings
• Any other ad-hoc projects as requiredQualifications:Requirements in bullet points
• Candidate must possess a Degree in Accounting or equivalent
• At least 4 years prior relevant experience• Hands-on book-keeping is preferred. Candidates with strong audit background in Big 4 firms may also be considered.
• Strong in Microsoft Word, Excel and Powerpoint
Experience in handling Statutory Audits for Group companies
• Good spoken and written English
• Meticulous and able to multi-task well
