About the RoleJoin SIDE, a global game services company working with developers and publishers around the world to bring games to life.
We are looking for a Finance Lead to manage the end-to-end financial operations of our Philippines business, ensuring accurate accounting records, timely reporting and compliance with Philippine statutory requirements. The role will support cash flow management, audits, budgeting and MIS reporting, while coordinating with internal teams and external agencies to maintain contract accuracy and overall finance process integrity.
What You'll Be DoingFinance Management- Manage finance activities including preparation of the P&L, Balance Sheet and statutory requirements in accordance with local regulations.
- Maintain and perform bookkeeping functions, including:
- General Ledger
- Accounts Payable, including vendor invoice processing and payments
- Accounts Receivable, including customer invoice processing and payment follow-ups
- Payroll
- Local Statutory Reporting
- Management Reporting (MIS)
- Develop and maintain timely and accurate financial statements and reports appropriate for users and in accordance with Filipino Accounting Principles.
- Ensure the organisation meets its statutory requirements by coordinating with the external accounting agency to ensure taxes and income tax requirements are met and that financial information is secure and stored in compliance with current Philippine legislation.
- Prepare and support all required information for Group and Local Audit requirements and consult with internal and external auditors as necessary.
- Manage and prepare cash flow forecasts in accordance with policy and ensure that the cash needs of the company are maintained.
- Raise customer invoices locally once work has been delivered and ensure all supporting executed agreements are in place before invoices are raised and delivered to customers.
- Coordinate with the Local Accounting Agency to ensure all required inputs are provided and received and appropriate local compliance requirements are adhered to.
- Maintain financial records for each location / Line of Business in a manner that facilitates management reporting.
- Assist the London Group Accounting and Finance team with the preparation of the budget by providing relevant information on a regular basis.
- Manage the monthly MIS and reporting pack to share the required inputs with the London Group team on a regular basis.
- Respond to enquiries from stakeholders including Sales, Finance and Operations regarding the terms of active contracts.
- Communicate and manage the workflow of all contract stages.
- Perform such other duties mandated by the Company as are customarily performed by someone holding this position and undertake other responsibilities the Company may deem appropriate.
- Accounting Degree / Certification
- 4 to 6 years of experience in bookkeeping and accounting activities
- Good English speaking and writing skills
- Good understanding and knowledge of Finance and Local Accounting systems
- A "Make It Happen" attitude, with the ability to work under pressure and support the organisation based on business requirements
- Knowledge of the MS D365 application will be a plus
- Good knowledge of MS Office, specifically Excel and Word
- A good collaborator with the right attitude towards work

Skills Required
- Accounting degree or certification
