In this position you will....

  • Lead and manage the Financial Planning & Analysis, Financial Control, and Tax functions for Device Protection (Bolt One) and Insurance Exchange (Bolt Choice) businesses in Malaysia.

  • You will work closely with a diverse team of finance professionals across Asia. By mentoring and developing the team, implementing systems and process, and by building key relationships, you will help to build a best-in-class finance function.

     

 

You will be responsible for…

  • Financial Planning and Analysis: 

You will be responsible for developing and implementing financial plans and strategies to achieve the company's financial goals. This includes analyzing financial data, forecasting future trends, and identifying areas for improvement.

  • Budgeting and Forecasting: 

You will be responsible for developing and managing the company's budget and forecasting processes. This includes working with department heads to develop budgets, monitoring actual results against budget, and making adjustments as necessary.

  • Financial Reporting: 

You will be responsible for preparing and presenting financial reports to the company's management team and board of directors. This includes analyzing financial data, preparing financial statements, and providing insights and recommendations based on the data.

  • Strategy:

Partnering with the business stakeholders on new business opportunities and development of business cases. 

  • Risk Management: 

You will be responsible for identifying and managing financial risks for the company. This includes developing risk management strategies, monitoring financial risks, and implementing controls to mitigate risks.

  • Compliance: 

You will be responsible for ensuring that the company complies with all financial regulations and reporting requirements. This includes working with external auditors and regulatory bodies to ensure compliance.

  • Leadership: 

You will be responsible for leading and managing the finance team in Indonesia. This includes setting goals and objectives, providing guidance and support, and developing the team's skills and capabilities.

 You will require the following qualifications and skills                                                                                                               

  • Degree in Accounting.

  • A professional qualification, or similar is highly preferred.

  • More than 12 years working experience in accounting and audit field.

  • Experience working in an Accounting/Audit Firm would be an added advantage. 

  • Effective management skills (upwards and downwards) and the willingness to coach and train others.

  • Ability to create trust and confidence whilst demonstrating integrity in the provision of advice and support.
