Role Overview
As a Finance Intern, you will gain hands-on experience across financial planning & analysis, financial control, and reporting. Working within the Finance division, you will support both the FP&A and Financial Control & Reporting teams — contributing to management reporting, financial analysis, and control processes in a fast-paced digital banking environment.
Key Responsibilities
Support the preparation of monthly management reports, dashboards, and presentations for senior stakeholders.
Assist in monthly performance analysis, including variance analysis against budget and prior periods.
Support month-end and year-end closing activities, including reconciliations and journal entries.
Assist in the preparation and review of financial statements and regulatory reports.
Provide support during budget and forecast cycles, including data consolidation and coordination with relevant teams.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather inputs for planning, reporting, and data submission.
Contribute to process improvement initiatives to enhance efficiency in planning and reporting cycles.
Perform ad hoc analysis and tasks as required to support the finance team.
Requirements
Currently pursuing a degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business, or a related field.
Strong analytical and numerical skills with attention to detail.
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (e.g., formulas, pivot tables); PowerPoint is an advantage.
Familiarity with financial modelling, financial systems, or data visualisation tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau) is a plus.
Good communication skills with the ability to present data clearly and work collaboratively.
Ability to manage multiple tasks and adapt in a fast-paced environment.
Eagerness to learn across both planning and control functions.
