Finance Intern

Position Summary

Methode Electronics is seeking a Finance Intern – FP&A to support our financial planning, forecasting, and analysis processes. This internship provides hands-on experience in budgeting, variance analysis, and financial modeling, offering exposure to strategic decision-making within a global organization.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist in the development of financial models, forecasts, and budgets.
• Support monthly and quarterly variance analysis to assess financial performance.
• Prepare management reports, dashboards, and presentations with key financial insights.
• Conduct cost analysis, revenue trends evaluation, and margin analysis.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve financial processes and reporting.
• Research industry and economic trends to support strategic financial planning.

Qualifications & Skills:

• Pursuing a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field.
• Strong analytical skills and ability to interpret financial data.
• Proficiency in Excel, financial modeling, and data visualization tools (Power BI, Tableau preferred).
• Understanding of financial statements and corporate finance principles.
• Detail-oriented with strong problem-solving and communication skills.
• Excellent communication and organizational abilities.

Given the hands-on experience and exposure that this internship opportunity provides, the position is based on site, 5 days a week.

Note: Candidates must be authorized to work for any employer in the United States on a permanent basis post-graduation.

Base pay offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, including market location, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Hourly employees will also be paid overtime pay when working qualifying overtime hours.
