Finance Intern – Brokerage Firm
We are seeking a Finance Intern to support the Finance and Risk team in daily financial reporting, capital monitoring, and brokerage operations. The intern will gain exposure to trading operations, regulatory reporting, and capital adequacy monitoring within a regulated securities firm.
Responsibilities
Financial Reporting & Analysis
- Assist in preparation of monthly management accounts
- Support revenue reconciliation (commission, margin interest, fees)
- Perform expense tracking and variance analysis
Capital & Liquidity Monitoring
- Assist in monitoring regulatory capital ratios (e.g. FRR/TRR)
- Track margin financing exposure
- Support stress testing and liquidity analysis
- Update capital dashboards and risk reports

- Perform client money reconciliation
