Position Summary:
As a Finance Intern, you will gain meaningful, hands-on experience while providing support to the Finance Team. Working alongside experienced teammates, you will contribute to ongoing accounting responsibilities, including daily reconciliations, teller cash and Federal Reserve Account balancing, Accounts Payable, and other Finance projects.
This opportunity is ideal for a student seeking to gain professional experience while continuing their education. The selected student will apply classroom learning, develop accounting and business skills, and gain exposure to a professional work environment.
The position is expected to work approximately 10-15 hours per week, with a schedule established around the student's class commitments each semester, and is anticipated to continue through the end of the school year in May 2027.

What will you do:
Accountabilities
Department Responsibilities and Projects
Contribute to the day-to-day responsibilities of the Finance Team while developing practical accounting and business experience.
- Assist with the daily balancing of teller cash and the Federal Reserve Account.
- Support balancing daily reports and reconciliations as needed.
- Assist with Accounts Payable activities, including processing check payments and recording debit card transactions.
- Participate in Finance projects and support other departmental responsibilities as assigned.
Professional Development
Take an active role in your professional development while gaining experience in a professional banking environment.
- Work with your supervisor to establish learning and development goals based on your interests and the responsibilities of the position.
- Participate in regular conversations about your progress, experiences, and development.
- Build practical accounting, communication, problem-solving, and professional skills through hands-on experience.
- Gain a broader understanding of how the Finance Team supports the Bank and its customers.
Qualifications
- Currently enrolled in or pursuing higher education in accounting, finance, business, or a related field preferred.
- Interest in gaining practical accounting, finance, and business experience.
