Job Description
The Finance / Accounts Intern will support the finance team in maintaining financial records,processing transactions, and ensuring compliance with statutory requirements. This internship offers hands-on exposure to accounting operations, financial reporting, taxation (GST/TDS), and audit processes in a fast-growing social enterprise.
Roles and Responsibilities:
Accounting & Bookkeeping Support
● Assist in maintaining general ledger and financial records.
● Support processing of accounts payable and receivable entries.
● Help with bank reconciliation and vendor/customer reconciliation.
Compliance & Documentation
● Support GST, TDS, and other statutory compliance documentation.
● Organize and maintain financial records for audit purposes.
● Assist in preparing data required for internal and external audits.
System & Process Support
● Work on accounting software (Tally / Zoho Books or ERP systems).
● Help improve documentation and filing processes.
● Provide administrative support to the finance team as required.
Requirements
Qualifications :
- Pursuing or recently completed Bachelor’s / Master’s degree in Commerce, Accounting.
- Finance, or related field (B.Com, M.Com, MBA Finance preferred).
Skills Required
- Pursuing or recently completed a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Commerce, Accounting, Finance, or a related field
- B.Com, M.Com, or MBA Finance preferred
