Job DescriptionWe're looking for a detail-oriented and analytical Finance Intern – Tax to join our team in Dubai, United Arab Emirates. In this role, you will support our tax department by assisting with accounting, compliance activities, and financial analysis. This internship offers valuable hands-on experience in tax preparation and accounting processes, an opportunity to develop your expertise in accounting and tax regulations, particularly within the Middle East business environment. You will work alongside experienced tax professionals who will mentor you throughout your internship.
- Support the preparation of tax returns and compliance documentation.
- Organize, file, and maintain tax-related documents and records in a systematic manner.
- Analyze financial data and accounting transactions to identify tax implications and opportunities.
- Perform calculations and account reconciliations related to tax positions and liabilities.
- Support the tax team in gathering and compiling information for tax audits and regulatory filings.
- Assist with data entry and database management for tax compliance systems.
- Strong understanding of fundamental accounting concepts.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Office with the ability to create formulas, pivot tables, and financial models.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with strong attention to detail.
- Experience with accounting software or tax preparation platforms (preferred).
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Familiarity with financial analysis and data interpretation.
- Proficiency in Arabic & English (required).
