Department Overview
Account Receivables Management is a function within the MSI Finance Operations Center in Penang. MSI Finance Operations Centre is recognized as trusted partner to customers, suppliers and employees providing excellent service and quality support. Our department supports wide range of Motorola Solutions businesses and operations finance functions across APAC. We are responsible on all related business accounting and compliance reporting and making sure we provide great level of support to our business partners within APAC in all finance areas.
Job Description
  • Compiles and analyzes data related to Accounts Receivable adjustments.

  • Review negative indicators and responsible for identifying, resolving, and finding the root cause of discrepancies and delinquencies related to Account Receivable

  • Perform AR Subledger Close with accurate and on-time monthly financial closing.

  • Recommends changes to eliminate or greatly reduce future inaccuracies from reoccurring

  • Drive supported countries collections meeting to deep dive risks and opportunities by interfacing with Sales, Finance Controller, Program Management and other pertinent functions to align action plans and progress of the actions

  • Report and support business metrics (Channel, System) by Customers for supported countries

  • Liaise and support AR discounting for supported countries

  • Any other ad-hoc duties.


Basic Requirements
  • Candidate must possess or currently pursuing a Bachelor Degree in Finance, Accounting, or Data Analytics.

  • Must be a self-starter who can work independently and interface with all relevant internal teams and external business partners needed

  • Strong analytical, comprehension, and problem-solving skills, as well as strong verbal and written communication skills and the ability to conceptualize

  • Attention to detail, ability to manage time and workflow, working on multiple assignments, and managing rapidly changing assignments in a team environment

  • Current active students of recognized universities and colleges

  • Minimum CGPA score of 3.0 and above

  • Driven, self-motivated, and results-oriented

  • Intermediate MS Excel experience is a plus

  • Internship duration minimum 4 months. Please state the internship duration in your resume

  • Able to start January or February

  • Willing to work in Bayan Lepas, Penang
