Our Graduate Programme runs for a period of 12 months giving successful graduates the opportunity to become a full time Xapien once the programme has concluded. This role would therefore be a 12 month contract.

Position overview
As a Finance Graduate Trainee at Xapo, you will have the opportunity to gain hands-on experience in various aspects of finance, including accounting, financial planning and analysis (FP&A), and accounts payable. You will work closely with experienced professionals and contribute to key finance initiatives while developing your skills and expertise.
Responsibilities
- Accounting and Control:
- Assist in maintaining accurate financial records and ledgers.
- Prepare journal entries and reconciliations for various accounts.
- Support month-end and year-end close processes.
- Contribute to the analysis of financial data and trends.
- Assist in internal and external audit activities.
- Financial Planning and Analysis (FP&A):
- Assist in the preparation of annual budgets and forecasts.
- Analyze variances between actual and budgeted results.
- Assist in data gathering and analysis to support financial decision-making.
- Aid in the preparation of presentations and reports for internal stakeholders.
- Assist in ad-hoc financial analysis and projects as required.
- Accounts Payable:
- Process invoices accurately and efficiently.
- Ensure timely payment of invoices and resolve payment discrepancies.
- Maintain vendor accounts and address inquiries from vendors.
- Assist in optimising accounts payable processes and procedures.
- Prepare reports on accounts payable ageing and cash flow projections.
Skills needed
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Excel is a must.
- Other financial software will be considered a plus.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced and collaborative environment.
- Eagerness to learn and develop new skills in finance.
