Our Purpose
The Medtronic Finance and Accounting Graduate Program is designed to develop future leaders in finance and accounting by providing participants with diverse experiences and skill-building opportunities. We currently have 3 vacant roles available in this program. This program is ideal for recent graduates who are passionate about making an impact in the healthcare industry while growing their expertise in financial analysis, accounting, and strategic decision-making.
Participants will gain hands-on experience across key finance functions, including Global Operations and Supply Chain (GOSC) Controllership, Costing, and Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A) teams.

As a participant in the program, you will:
Gain a complete understanding of how to contribute to Medtronic’s core mission to alleviate pain, restore health, and extend life.
Rotate through roles within GOSC Controllership, Costing, and FP&A teams to gain a comprehensive understanding of Medtronic’s financial operations.
Gain hands-on experience with the GOSC Controllership team by ensuring compliance with accounting standards, producing accurate financial reports, and contributing to audit, tax, and internal control activities.
Develop expertise in analyzing product costs, operational efficiencies, and profitability metrics while working as part of the Costing team.
Build your strategic financial planning skills by working with the FP&A team to create forecasts, budgets, and actionable insights that inform business decisions.
Contribute to cross-functional projects and initiatives that support Medtronic’s business goals.
Enhance your professional development by participating in mentorship programs, and continuous learning opportunities.
What We’re Looking For
We’re looking for three individuals who are eager to learn, thrive in dynamic environments, and are committed to making a difference. We especially welcome applications from those who will be newly graduating in September 2026 as the start date will be September 2026. or who have graduated within the past two years.
Basic Qualifications & Skills:
Minimum NFQ Level 7 degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field to be completed before start date, September 2026.
Graduated within the last 2 years.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other financial software tools.
You are a good communicator and fluent in English, both in writing and speaking.
Builds and maintains positive relationships; shows respect for others.
Preferred Qualifications:
Internship or co-op experience in finance, accounting, or related areas.
Demonstrated leadership through extracurricular activities or previous work experience.
Ability to adapt to new challenges and work effectively in a team setting.
