Details of the Division and Team:
Immediate backfill required for the VP role in DSI Local Country Finance, with a target for juniorization (AVP or below). This position is critical for financial accounting, transactional regulatory reporting, capital calculation, planning, and addressing all internal/external regulatory/financial demands. Given our current team capacity, a timely replacement is essential to maintain financial integrity and ensure regulatory compliance

Your key responsibilities:
- This role is working in DB Japan Group (excluding DWS Japan) Local Financial Control, focusing on local financial accounting and transactional regulatory reporting.
- Responsibilities initially is on monthly, quarterly and annual transactional reporting and process optimization leveraging AI and other tools to streamline processes collaboratively with team members.
- In future the role is expected to expand other areas such as annual audit, planning, and other financial accounting,
Your skills and experience:
- Preferred experience includes Japanese financial industry in accounting, operations or middle office.
- Japanese CPA or related skills are a plus, but not mandatory.
- Candidates with a strong desire to gain accounting and regulatory reporting experience, excellent teamwork, and innovative thinking are welcome, provided they are a cultural fit.
- University degree
- Native Japanese & Business English
- Strong communication & influencing skills
- Team-oriented & innovative mindset
- Accounting knowledge (preferred)
- Securities industry experience (preferred)
