Key Responsibilities
Expert in AR management and revenue accounting principles as per US GAAP for large-scale operations/customers
Preparing Sales invoices and required to do payment follow-ups with customers
Monitoring customer credit limits and applying for credit insurance for new customers
Having strong skills to implement and monitor AR processes for services
Run weekly Aging Analysis of debtors
Proactively identify areas for process improvement and partner with other departments to streamline processes related to revenue and cost recognition
Deep understanding of billing and commercial aspects involved in AR operations
Ensure that periodic bank reconciliations are completed
Assist with month-end processing
Excellent in cross-functional collaboration with Sales, and Operations for guiding and implementing new processes/ policies
Improve the operational systems, processes, and policies in support of department priorities -- specifically, supporting better customer experience, relevant management reporting, risk reduction, and efficiency
Collaborate effectively across different organizational levels, functions, businesses, and geographies to realize procurement goals and objectives
Introducing best practices and enabling the function to manage rapid scale-ups
Ensuring no revenue leakage and required checks to avoid any exposure
driving automation for increased efficiency/scale up
Maintain proper SOP, accounting methods, policies, and procedures
Maintain process documentation
Assist in Audit Support
Ensure process improvements are in line with MKTG/Dentsu policies
Participation in projects such as process/system enhancement and so on
Support your managers for all management decisions in relation to work scope and resource arrangements
Participation in a team rotation program
Ad-hoc and other relevant accounting work assigned by the supervisor

Qualifications
B. Com / MBA or an equivalent degree from a recognized university, preferably in finance and accounting.
High degree of fluency in both written and verbal English is Must.
Up to 5 years of finance/accounting and project management experience, ideally within a media/full-service agency or client-side marketing department setting.
Demonstrable technical accounting ability, especially a strong conceptual understanding.
Strong interpersonal and verbal and written communication skills.
Detail oriented with a strong work ethic and positive attitude.
Strong organizational and project management skills.
Works effectively within a team.
Willingness to occasionally work early or late to accommodate different international time zones (UK & US).
Strong knowledge of Excel and the ability to manipulate data via Pivot tables, lookups, etc.
