The PositionAs a Finance Enterprise Partner, for the Sub region Africa, you are a member of the Africa Finance & Supply Chain Chapter reporting directly to the Chapter lead. You act as a cross functional key business partner for the Global Access Program (GAP) team, the Near Patient Care (NPC) Chapter, and the Diagnostics Africa Finance Chapter lead with interfaces to the EMEA LATAM regional insights team, Strategic Pricing and BA Finance.
Your Responsibilities
Business partnering for Global Access Program (GAP)
Serve as proactive financial thought partner to GAP program leads, ensuring real-time visibility into forecasting and performance and identifying and supporting solutions to risks
Co-create the GAP pricing strategy in close collaboration with the GAP program leads, EMEA LATAM and global teams
Act as an expert on GAP Finance by driving the finance agenda & coordinating all the financial aspects of complex tenders in collaboration with the GAP program leads, strategic pricing and the business area
Coach local teams in the affiliates on the implementation of the GAP from a Finance Perspective including yet not limited to pricing, compliance, and tax topics
Develop and enhance smart, efficient and simple processes and tools for planning, reporting and automation for GAP and beyond.
Leading all major planning & budgeting events for GAP for the Africa Network from a finance perspective in line with divisional and regional EMEA LATAM guidelines in close collaboration with the GAP team
Lead finance-related internal strategic and operational aspects of direct (GAP and donor funded in general) business with countries (e.g., Bridge Program, Africa Access Reimagined)
Business Partnering for Near Patient Care (NPC)
Lead strategic planning and the annual budgeting and forecasting process for NPC from a Finance perspective
Performs analyses, scenario planning and business modelling opimisation for NPC to increase patient access and present outcomes to key stakeholders
Partner with the Africa Commercial and the NPC Business Area teams for planning, analysis and actionable insights to ensure investments are in place to achieve NPC’s strategic growth goals
Be part of cross-functional teams; provide financial input, challenge and influence the decision making
Identify financial opportunities and support follow through actions
Provide value-adding financial insights and reporting to enable informed decision making
Being the NPC Finance Business Partner to Tax and Supply Chain for business finance questions
Business partnering for Africa Network
Provide insights across the Africa Network to the Africa Network LT enabling & ensuring informed strategic decision
Contributes & presents to the Africa LT meetings on ad hoc basis and supports with the analytics of the financial aspects in the execution of the Africa strategy
Actively design and promote new concepts of performance measurement in the commercial space, synthesising product and financial data into actionable recommendations and dashboards.
Prepares and performs Business Reviews for the African markets in collaboration with the Africa LT as well as for the GAP program.
Participation in ad-hoc projects and strategic Flex Teams, initiatives and sprints for the Africa Network and the overall EMEA LATAM region.

You have a Degree in economics or finance and you bring 5+ years of professional experience in local, regional or global commercial finance and or controlling roles.
