As Finance Director, you will lead the full finance agenda across reporting, performance management, governance, liquidity, and compliance. Working closely with senior leadership, shareholders, and shared services, you will strengthen financial insight, drive operational improvement, help meet customer requirements, and build a high-performing finance function that supports continued growth.

Your Responsibilities- Lead the company’s FP&A activities, including planning, budgeting, forecasting, and performance follow-up
- Ensure timely, accurate, and compliant financial reporting under German GAAP (HGB) and IFRS
- Oversee compliance, tax, liquidity, cash flow
- Drive transparency through strong reporting, controlling, and KPI frameworks
- Partner effectively with Shared Service Centers and lead continuous improvement, digitalization, and automation across finance
- Act as a trusted business partner to senior management and shareholders
- Lead and develop international accounting and finance teams
- Maintain strong relationships with auditors, banks, tax advisers, and other external stakeholders
- A degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, Economics, or a related discipline
- Proven senior finance leadership experience in an international environment
- Strong expertise in financial reporting under German GAAP (HGB) and IFRS
- Sound understanding of tax, compliance, liquidity, and corporate finance processes
- Proven leadership skills and the ability to build high-performing teams
- Experience working across Shared Service Centers and matrix organisations, preferably within a multinational company
- A strategic, hands-on, and results-oriented approach
- Fluency in German and English, both written and spoken
- CPA, ACCA, or an equivalent qualification is an advantage
