Responsibilities:
- Oversee the financial operations of the company, including budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning.
- Manage the preparation and presentation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
- Lead the monthly financial close process, ensuring accuracy and completeness of financial data.
- Oversee cash management activities, including monitoring cash flow, managing bank accounts, and optimizing liquidity.
- Coordinate with various departments to gather necessary information for financial reporting.
- Analyze financial performance and provide insights to senior management for decision-making.
- Ensure compliance with accounting standards and regulatory requirements.
- Develop and implement financial policies and procedures to improve efficiency and control.
- Manage relationships with external auditors, banks, and other financial institutions.
- Provide financial support for strategic initiatives and special projects.
- Oversee local tax requirements, and transfer pricing, ensuring compliance with all relevant tax laws and regulations.
- Oversee cost control measures to ensure efficient use of resources.
- Monitor actual vs. budget performance and provide variance analysis.
- Support South African operations with finance, budgeting, statutory reporting, and tax filing requirements.
- Other tasks as required
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field; CPA or CMA certification preferred.
- Minimum of 8 years of experience in finance or accounting.
- Experience in cash management, including monitoring cash flow, managing bank accounts, and optimizing liquidity.
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles and financial reporting standards.
- Proficiency in financial software and Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Strong knowledge of Egyptian tax and labor laws.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Experience in financial planning and analysis, including budgeting and forecasting.
- Ability to develop and implement financial policies and procedures.
- Experience in managing financial audits and working with external auditors.
- Strong leadership skills and the ability to manage and mentor a finance team.
