Job Details:
This position is a Finance Accounting leadership role that provides financial and business leadership while ensuring good fiduciary responsibility within the Small Bird Poultry Business Units. This position reports directly to the Sr Director of Finance Accounting and has dotted line responsibility to the respective Business Unit. Daily weekly duties and responsibilities may include plant operations financial support product costing reporting and analysis; plant operations variance reporting and analysis; plant operations reporting and analysis; business unit sales financial support margin reporting and analysis; business unit sales accrual SGA expense rate management reporting; business unit sales reporting and analysis; business unit volume mix capacity reporting and analysis; business unit inventory reporting and analysis; business unit sales and operations balance sheet management reconciliation reporting and analysis; business unit sales operations financial metric scorecard reporting and analysis and business unit category customer pricing analysis; continual business process improvement identification and implementation and other duties as assigned. Other responsibilities include business unit quarterly projection preparation and analysis; Annual Plan Strategic Plan preparation and reporting including business unit capital budget. Support as needed for capital project preparation analysis and reporting; managing and developing a financial manager and senior controllers; ensuring proper Internal Control and SOX compliance within the Business Unit and other duties as assigned.
REQUIREMENTS: Education: Bachelor s degree or equivalent in Accounting or Finance is required.
Experience: 10 plus years’ experience preferred with previous accounting supervisory experience.
Computer Skills: Standard computer skills. Experience with SAP, AFE, GIS/Mtech required
Poultry experience required.
Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills; ability to communicate clearly with all levels of business management and Finance Accounting F&A staff.
Supervisory: Position is responsible for supervising and interacting with varying levels of F&A and Business Management.
Travel: 4 or more domestic trips per year.
