Location/Division Specific InformationThe Director, Finance for Global Operations is part of the Chemical Analysis Division (CAD) within the Analytical Instrumentation Group (AIG). CAD is comprised of three business units, with more than 15 manufacturing sites and 2,800 colleagues globally. This position will be site-based at our Tewksbury Massachusetts office with travel expectation of 10-15%.
Discover Impactful Work:The Director will provide financial leadership to CAD Global Operations. This role leads a dispersed team and collaborates closely with the finance and leadership teams of CAD's three business units to drive growth and optimization initiatives. This role will ensure strong financial controls, compliance, and timely and accurate financial reporting, consistent with USGAAP and local reporting requirements (No more than 2-3 sentences)
A day in the Life:- Critical partner to the Vice President, CAD Operations and leadership team.
- Provides financial leadership to drive strategic and operational improvements within the business.
- Directs a hard-working finance team, setting standards of expectation and ensuring strong growth and development for the team.
- Leads CAD support structure for financial processes including the cost accounting function. Accountable for the Global Operations annual operating plan (AOP) process, quarterly forecasting and monthly/quarterly business review processes.
- Drives divisional results related to gross margin elements including Direct Material, Direct Labor and Overhead. Primary owner of divisional Inventory and DOS Performance.
- Leads financial analysis of strategic projects including financial modeling to ensure appropriate resource and capital allocation and return on investment.
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or Business related field required; CPA, CMA, MBA strongly desired
Experience8+ years of progressive financial reporting and operations experience
Knowledge, Skills, Abilities- Excellent problem-solving skills; ability to step back, analyze the overall business impact and synthesize the messaging.
- Ability to excel in a highly matrixed environment and to be comfortable with ambiguity is a must.
- Strong organizational skills and ability to decern key priorities for the team.
- Self-motivated; bias for action

Compensation and Benefits
The salary range estimated for this position based in Massachusetts is $160,100.00–$213,400.00.This position may also be eligible to receive a variable annual bonus based on company, team, and/or individual performance results in accordance with company policy.
