Neogen is seeking an accomplished Finance Director - APAC to provide strategic financial leadership across its Asia Pacific operations. Based in South Korea, Singapore, Japan, or China, this senior regional role will shape financial strategy, strengthen governance and controls, and partner with business leaders to support sustainable growth and operational excellence. Reporting to Corporate Finance leadership, you will lead a diverse regional finance agenda in a dynamic multinational environment supporting food safety, animal health, and public health.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead financial management across APAC legal entities and operations, including financial planning and analysis, accounting, treasury, tax, statutory reporting, internal controls, and governance.
  • Develop and deliver regional financial strategies, annual budgets, forecasts, long-range plans, and management reporting aligned with corporate requirements and business priorities.
  • Partner with regional commercial, operational, and corporate leaders to analyse performance, address variances, improve profitability, and provide clear, actionable financial recommendations.
  • Lead, develop, and support regional finance teams, establishing clear objectives, strengthening capability, and supporting succession and development planning.
  • Ensure robust financial controls, accurate accounting records, timely statutory filings, and compliance with applicable accounting standards, corporate policies, and local regulatory requirements.
  • Manage relationships with auditors, tax advisers, banks, insurers, and other external partners, while supporting strategic projects including capital investments, business expansion, acquisitions, integrations, and restructuring activities.
Job Requirements
  • Significant progressive finance leadership experience in a multinational, regulated, manufacturing, life sciences, or similarly complex business environment.
  • Professional accounting qualification or an equivalent recognised finance credential.
  • Demonstrated expertise in budgeting, forecasting, financial planning and analysis, management reporting, statutory reporting, audit, tax, and internal control frameworks.
  • Proven experience leading finance teams across multiple countries, business units, or legal entities and partnering effectively with senior stakeholders.
  • Strong commercial acumen and analytical capability, with the ability to translate complex financial information into practical business insight and recommendations.
  • Fluent written and verbal English communication skills, with the ability to work effectively across APAC cultures and time zones and travel regionally or internationally as business needs require.

Experience working across APAC markets, within a US-headquartered or publicly listed organisation, or in life sciences, food safety, animal health, diagnostics, agriculture, or related sectors will be advantageous. Experience with regional treasury, foreign exchange, intercompany accounting, transfer pricing, and ERP systems such as Sage 200 or comparable platforms is also valued.
