Job SummaryThe Finance Data Product Lead – Data & Analytics owns the design and support of data products, interfaces and processes in the Finance data ecosystem, spanning upstream systems (ERP and homegrown), the enterprise data platform, and consuming application integration.
This role is accountable for defining, supporting and governing scalable data products and processes, ensuring data integrity and reliability at enterprise scale, and acting as a trusted speaking partner to IT, Finance, and external service providers.
The role also focuses on monitoring, issue resolution, process standardization, data governance, and stakeholder communication, while guiding Level 1 resources and working closely with Level 2/3 IT support teams to drive long-term stability and continuous improvement.
Key Responsibilities- Lead product discovery by gathering requirements from stakeholders, users, and technical teams.
- Design, implement, and govern data quality controls, reconciliation frameworks, and exception management mechanisms.
- Define the vision, strategy, and roadmap for data products aligned with business goals.
- Translate business needs into clear product requirements, user stories, and delivery plans.
- Prioritize initiatives based on business value, technical feasibility, user needs, and strategic fit.
- Identify high-impact opportunities where data products can improve decision-making, operations, or customer experience.
- Partner with data engineers, analysts, and business leaders to deliver data products.
- Drive implementation of data products in data platforms, dashboards, semantic layers, self-service analytics tools, APIs, and ML-enabled solutions.

- Advanced proficiency in SQL and Snowflake, including performance tuning, complex validations, reconciliation logic, and troubleshooting.
- Strong experience with data warehousing, ETL frameworks, and cloud data platforms.
- Preferred understanding of enterprise Finance systems and ERP platforms such as Oracle (EBS / Fusion) and SAP (ECC / S/4HANA).
- Proven experience working with workload scheduling and automation tools such as Apache Airflow and Control-M.
- Solid understanding of data governance, data quality, controls, and reconciliation frameworks in Finance environments.
- Demonstrated experience acting as a stakeholder-facing lead, managing cross-functional dependencies across Finance, IT, and external vendors.
- Strong ability to translate Finance business logic into data rules, controls, and permanent technical solutions.
