- Work closely with Finance, IT, and Business teams to understand data requirements and deliver actionable insights.
- Extract, clean, transform, and validate financial data from diverse source systems.
- Perform comprehensive source-to-target mapping for financial datasets.
- Support integration efforts between financial systems and enterprise data warehouses.
- Collaborate with IT teams to develop and enhance data warehouse solutions, including participation in SIT and UAT cycles.
- Troubleshoot financial data issues, perform root-cause analysis, and implement corrective measures.
- Identify opportunities to automate manual processes, enhancing efficiency in financial data workflows.
- Develop functional dashboards, scorecards, and reports using BI tools like Power BI or Tableau.
- Provide training and ongoing support for financial data tools, dashboards, and reporting solutions.
- Apply domain expertise in banking finance, treasury, or tax to ensure the accuracy and relevance of insights.
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Data Analytics, Business, or a related field.
- Proven experience as a Data Analyst, preferably in a Finance or Banking environment.
- Strong proficiency in BI tools such as Power BI, Tableau, or equivalent platforms.
- Hands-on experience with SQL, data modeling, and data warehouse concepts.
- Ability to interpret financial data and translate it into meaningful, actionable insights.
- Excellent problem-solving, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
- Experience with automation tools or scripting languages (Python, VBA, etc.) is preferred.
- Exposure to ETL tools or cloud data platforms is an advantage.
- Knowledge of regulatory reporting requirements (if applicable) is beneficial.
- A strong understanding of banking finance, treasury, or tax domains is essential.
