The Crown Is Yours
As a Financial Data Analyst, you will join a team dedicated to maintaining and enhancing the accuracy of our financial data. You will take charge of analyzing complex datasets using SQL and collaborate closely with the Accounting and other cross-functional teams to identify and address data inaccuracies. In this role, you'll be at the heart of our process optimization and technological advancements, ensuring our customer experience remains exceptional. You'll develop financial dashboards, support change management, and uphold data integrity across our organization.
What you'll do as a Finance Data Analyst
- Conduct comprehensive data reconciliations to support the Accounting team, ensuring accuracy and integrity of financial records.
- Utilize SQL via Snowflake to extract, validate, and analyze large financial datasets.
- Identify and implement opportunities to automate the reconciliation processes.
- Identify discrepancies and inconsistencies through detailed data analysis, providing actionable insights to resolve issues promptly.
- Collaborate closely with the Accounting and other cross-functional teams to understand and meet reporting requirements.
- Maintain and enhance existing financial dashboards and reports.
- Execute ad-hoc analyses and generate specialized reports as requested by management.
- Communicate reconciliation findings clearly and effectively to senior management and relevant stakeholders.
- Ensure adherence to data governance policies, maintaining data accuracy, integrity, and confidentiality.
What you'll bring
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Analytics, or a related discipline.
- 3+ years of relevant experience in finance, accounting, or data analytics roles.
- Proficient in SQL and with BI tools (Tableau preferred).
- Exceptional analytical, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills.
- Strong communication and presentation capabilities.
- Comfortable working independently and collaboratively in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
