As a Finance Data Analyst, you’ll help find new, innovative ways to control sales and operating expenses. The team is heavily focused on transformation, so there will be lots of opportunities for you to improve processes and implement best-in-class ways of working.
Main responsibilities:
- Define and implement the strategy roadmap in the controlling core model, coordinating with relevant teams and piloting process improvement initiatives.
- Collaborate on designing and deploying standardized processes and rules globally, capturing and documenting requirements, and formalizing related SOPs.
- Identify emerging needs and participate in the continuous improvement process, proposing innovative solutions and striving for standardization.
- Review and confirm necessary system changes to ensure data integrity, developing business cases to prioritize projects and programs.
- Interface closely with Digital to implement changes, maintaining an up-to-date risk management approach and deploying mitigation plans.
- Develop data procedures and policies, ensuring industry best practices while working with various departments to manage and analyze data assets.
- Implement system checks, data controls, and quality controls, improving data quality, measuring and reporting discrepancies, and defining follow-up action plans.
About you
Experience:
- Finance or equivalent diploma/certificate required.
- Significant experience in controlling.
- Proven experience in an Analytic COE type organization.
- Experience translating business needs into process and implementation requirements at Finance system project implementation environment.
Soft skills:
- Ability to work in matrix environments (scope / interactions / numerous stakeholders).
- Analytical, process-oriented with a keen interest to drive continuous improvements.
- A can-do attitude.
- Strong ability to train and teach/coach others.
- Ability to work in a multi-country team setup.
- Accountability and reliability.
Technical skills:
- Excellent knowledge of SAP is an advantage.
- TM1 and other systems functional scope is an advantage.
- Very good knowledge of controlling and reporting processes (end to end view).
- Deep understanding of controls, master data and systems flows.
Education:
- Degree in Finance or similar; or equivalent experience.
Languages:
- Fluent English.
