About the role (What you’ll be doing)

  • Manage a portfolio of EMEA entities for management reporting and local compliance reporting
  • Manage monthly regional close activities and present month-end results to management
  • Initiate, lead and manage inventory process improvement projects within our ERP system NetSuite
  • Support the UK statutory audit process, liaising with our external auditors for testing and completion activities
  • Communicate and manage local EMEA payment requirements with our shared services team
  • Support the global finance team in design, testing and roll-out of finance systems/tools/processes
  • Initiate, lead and manage process improvement projects to build for scale
  • Design, hire and coach a team of 3-5 people

About you (Who you are)

  • You are a qualified accountant (ACA, CIMA, ACCA, ICAS)
  • You probably have a mix of experience from a Big 4 accounting firm and a startup/scale-up
  • You have experience in the UK, including IFRS and GAAP, and probably in other markets
  • You have experience with inventory management and ERP systems, probably Netsuite
  • You have experience managing a team
  • You have a high sense of ownership and you thrive on ambiguity
  • You are an excellent communicator: you get to simple, fast
