Job Description

We are looking for a proven Financial Consolidation and Close Transformation Consultant Oracle EPM background and a specific focus in financial consolidation and close solutions, who will have a primary responsibility to help the sales team win new clients and deliver Finance Close projects.

We are looking for a highly motivated, experienced, and dedicated individual to join in a brand-new role as the Financial Close Transformation Consultant. We see this as a pivotal and strategic new role in our growing organization in India. We are looking for someone with proven HFM/FDM(EE) and FCCS consulting experience. The role involves the ability to persuade clients through excellent communication and solution architecture skills that we are the best partner to work with, as well as manage Financial Close delivery. 

You will work closely with an global, experienced and exceptionally talented team to win new business and help Version1 maintain its leadership position in the finance close practice. 

Key Responsibilities 

• Persuade customers to select Version1 as their preferred partner for Oracle EPM Close solutions, convincing them that we can meet or exceed their business needs. 
• You will achieve this primary objective because of your reputation, deep Oracle EPM knowledge, and excellent communication skills. 
• Facilitation of customer product/application understanding through presentations, demonstrations, case studies, and best practices. 
• Support sales team during the sales cycle by building / delivering demonstrations, effort estimations, and resource estimations. 
• This role has varied and complex duties that will require independent judgment and proactive communications. 
• Manage and lead the Financial Close delivery line within India. 

Job Description 

• As the Financial Close Transformation Consultant, you will be responsible for shaping the direction of the project and making sure that delivery is successful
• You will be a senior finance executive comfortable engaging with senior leaders and finance teams across our broad customer base and working in conjunction with our sales and marketing teams to grow our customer footprint. 
• Responsible for the successful delivery of projects in India that meet or exceed our customer experience Net Promoter Score targets. 
• Be responsible for helping to expand the team as we grow in the market. 
• Establish strong relationships with new and existing customers to understand their needs and ensure satisfaction. 
• Work with the broader Version1 team to integrate and extend the reach of our EPM solutions into other areas of the business. 
• As appropriate complete weekly time sheets and ensure timely and accurate billing of clients for work completed and reimbursable expenses. 
• As appropriate for the scope of the role in billable projects, ensure project documents are complete, current, meet standards and are appropriately shared. 

Qualifications

Minimum Requirements 

• 4+ years of previous Oracle EPM, on-premises Hyperion Financial Management, Financial Data Quality Management (Enterprise Edition), Financial Consolidation and Close Cloud Service design and delivery experience. 
• Deep understanding of functional areas like financial close and consolidation framework, statutory reporting, account reconciliations, and financial control.
• Must not have any travel related legal restrictions. 
• Fantastic verbal, written and presentation communications skills. 
• Clear capability and expertise in growing a specialised consulting team. 
• Experience managing, nurturing, and building a successful consultancy team. 
• Ability to work autonomously. 
• Passionate about helping customers on the digital finance transformation journey.
