About the Role
We’re looking for a Finance Business Partner to join our Porto team and support manufacturing operations across one of our regions. The role combines operational controlling with business partnering to enhance performance transparency and enable better decisions.
Key Responsibilities
Controlling & Performance Insight
- Act as the finance focal point for manufacturing operations in the region
- Contribute to month-end activities with timely inputs, validations, and performance commentary
- Analyze financial results and explain variances across COGS, OPEX, inventory, and CAPEX
- Track and interpret manufacturing KPIs (efficiency, yield, scrap, productivity)
- Support budgeting, forecasting, and long-range planning
- Maintain robust standard costing, inventory accuracy, and production reporting
Business Partnering
- Work closely with site and operations leaders as a trusted finance partner
- Turn data into clear insights and actionable recommendations
- Support business cases, investment decisions, and cost optimization initiatives
- Identify risks and opportunities and challenge assumptions constructively
Governance & Collaboration
- Align stakeholders around financial results and performance narratives
- Support compliance with internal controls and finance policies
- Drive improvements in reporting, data quality, and controlling processes
What We’re Looking For
- Degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or similar
- 5+ years of experience in finance business partnering, controlling, or FP&A
- Experience in a production / manufacturing environment is a strong advantage
- Solid understanding of cost drivers, operational KPIs, and performance analysis
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to translate data into actionable insights
- Ability to build relationships and influence operational stakeholders
- Advanced Excel skills and familiarity with ERP / reporting tools (experience with SAP is a strong advantage)
- Proactive mindset, comfortable working independently in an international environment
- Strong communication skills in English
