Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the financial planning and analysis (FP&A) process, including budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis, ensuring alignment with business goals.
- Partner with business teams to provide actionable insights and support data-driven decision-making across various functions.
- Analyze key performance indicators (KPIs), identifying trends and opportunities to drive business performance and profitability.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to evaluate business cases for new initiatives, store openings, and marketing campaigns.
- Ensure compliance with financial reporting standards and internal controls, maintaining accuracy and integrity in all financial data.
- Drive cost optimization initiatives and support resource allocation to maximize ROI.
Key Requirements:
- Chartered Accountant (CA) qualification is mandatory.
- 5–10 years of relevant experience in FP&A or business finance roles, preferably in the retail sector.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with expertise in financial modeling and scenario planning.
- Proven ability to work with senior stakeholders and influence strategic decisions.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, with proficiency in financial systems and tools.
- Experience with ERP tools like Oracle/SAP is essential.
- Experience with budgeting tools like COGNOS will be an added advantage.
